The bartender's personality was lacking some charm. Might have been an off night. Wasn't just to us, it was to everyone. Maybe she is always that way. The food was decent, but I did not care for the sauce used on the prime rib. I recommend asking for the sauce on the side. Jumbo Shrimp was good. Salad bar was mediocre, and the pasta dishes looked like they had sat there awhile.
This is a real old-fashioned saloon. The menu is pretty limited and consists mostly of meat. The food is edible, but far from best we tried. At the same time, since they don’t really have any other restaurants in town, everything was fine.
We were passing by and found No.3 Saloon. It has 4 seating areas including a patio for baby sun. However we opted to sit in because it was cold. The food was average but good. They had a salad bar with several toppings to choose from which I really liked.
Starving for 100 miles. In Buffalo South Dakota, we came upon the only open Bar and Grille since we started getting hungry. Warm, friendly, great Mushroom Swiss Burger and fries. Ken decided on a Hot Burger and Mash. Oh yeah.
This is a nice restaurant, we had a great outdoor dining time there. I ordered the Dirty Sue, the Honey Garlic sauce in my burger tasted good! Great size of the chicken breast 👍 Texas toast got my 5 🌟
