Circle E Drive-In

We stopped in by accident, because everything else was closed. But what a great surprise! I had the bacon cheeseburger with cheddar cheese balls. Very fresh and delicious! My wife had Hawaiian grilled chicken sandwich and Oreo shake. Also, excellent! The service was great as well! We’ll definitely be back, when we come through Murdo!

So thankful to find this place on our way through South Dakota! We were hungry and there weren't many options. I looked at reviews and decided to try. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating. Clean place. The food was delicious - especially the burgers. I had a delicious BLT. Two of us had the grilled chicken, which was a little dry. But overall, we loved it. Huge amount of fries in a single order that all 4 of us could share easily.

The only downsides were the dry-ish chicken sandwiches, the bathrooms were single stall (were clean, though), and I didn't realize we were charged .50 for each cup of water.

Super nice staff. The young lady who took our order said she would make our shake right before we left, no matter if there was a line, which was super nice of her becaus it was in the 90s that day. The woman who brought our food outside to us went back in to get a bottle of ketchup and napkins when she realized they had forgotten them. Just realized I didn't leave a tip -- will try to remedy that when we go back through someday!

Our family was traveling through from Arkansas and we are so glad we decided to stop at Circle E! The food was fantastic… we had the pizza burger, salad, soft taco, ultimate nachos and Hawaiian chicken sandwich and the prices were great. But the best part was the people! They treated us a with a free sample of “funnel fries” (also so good)! And they went above and beyond to help us. After we had driven about 40 miles, we realized that our daughter accidentally threw her retainer in the trash. We called them and told them we were coming back to get it. They dug through the trash and found it, sanitized it for us and waited (after closing time) for us to drive back and get it. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stop again. Burgers are amazing. Wish there were more places like this. The onion rings are probably some of the best I've ever had. Fries and nachos I'd pass on next time. Too bad they don't have home cut fries instead of the sad frozen skinnies they offer. Charging for small fountain water is kinda strange.

Great place to stop while on a roadtrip. It's just off the highway and the outdoor seating is awesome! We got cheese burgers, fries to share, and a chocolate shake. Definitely a great place to stop :)
