I was REALLY excited to get coffee at Caribou, I had Caribou while living in DC and was excited for this stop in South Dakota. The store was clean and very neat looking, but the cold brew I ordered was not very good. It tasted unreasonably bitter for cold brew and a little chemically/undrinkable, and I was really sad that it wasn't as great as I was hoping for!
My partner then ordered a latte, which was very good. I was disappointed with this experience, but would stop for a latte in the future.

Best option for coffee and pastries along this route for a long way! Inside the gas station but don’t let that put you off. My cappuccino was pretty good and the kids enjoyed their hot chocolates. Scones are not too bad, nothing to write home about but hit the spot. Very grateful to find some nice-tasting espresso!

This is a little Caribou shop inside the Sinclair station named Coffee Cup Fuel Stop. Probably your best cup of coffee until you hit Sturgis or Sioux Falls, depending on which direction you're traveling. Ladies working the counter were super friendly and the coffee was fresh n' hot...the way it should be!
