It was a quaint lil' spot. At first look, it's a total biker bar and hang-out spot (which its not). It also has a VERY interesting history! (Check it out) The food was AwEsOmE (even though I wanted the prime rib but they sold out) I ordered the chicken meal; 2 or 4 pieces of chicken, mashed spuds, Hawaiian dinner roll, and coleslaw the chicken was the best I've had in a very, VeRy long time. Not dry, burnt, undercooked, greasy, etc. It was juicy, rich, and moist, I almost didn't realize what was going on 😆 lol. The only real negative was the noise level inside, we were ending a business meeting with dinner and although the food and service were on point, I'm glad we didn't start the meeting there, we wouldn't have been able to hear each other. Oh, also the lady's restroom is very nice and clean with excellent essentials and that more spendy 'smell good' hemp lotion lol I was impressed. Never judge a book on its cover. We all know this. Thanks all
This bar/restaurant is the real deal not your up-scale brew-pub pretending to be rustic. Don't be put off if the mounted deer looks a little mangey or a motorcycle club shows up for dinner. The food is GREAT as long as you aren't looking for nouvelle cuisine.
I thought we were going to a bar. They actually have a nice bar. What I was presently surprised with was the dining area, menu and quality of food. I highly recommend the sampler appetizer and the house made potato chips.
