Pappy Hoel Campground & Resort

Made a stop here because a store owner on Main Street in Sturgis said to check it out. I'm so glad we did. This place was AMAZING! There are so many cool things to check out. You have to see it for yourself! They have a cool bar, but the only downfall is that they don't serve any food. Other than that, it's a must-see!!

Great first visit to Pappy Hoel for Sturgis. I tent camped in VIP. Restrooms were clean, and the entertainment at Full Throttle was top notch. I would stay again!

Stopped in to check out the place since we haven’t been here in about 8 years. Enjoyed buffet supper and checked out the pool. Despite the heat it was pretty quiet there!

Want some things at the store? Nice they aren’t gouging people and had reasonable prices on necessities like laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Facilities and bathrooms are clean very impressed as it was one of the cleanest we’ve been to throughout our stay around Sturgis the last 10 days. And our group came to the conclusion that next time we be booking in here as they appeared, organized, clean, and tidy.

Up dating my review: .adding a star. The campground added gravel on the muddy roads, yesterday.
That’s like closing the barn door after the horse got out!
I Appreciate the effort to make it right, even though we lost water during the road renovations.
It’s a muddy mess if it rains! I mean a total mud hole. They need to lay much more of gravel here, On both Roads & RV Pads.
Staff were friendly & helpful. Lots of Amenities, but the RV sites & roads are a huge mess if it rains.

My father watches the show and wanted to check it out. He was very impressed and I was too. Lots of cool industrial items hanging around and good beer. It's very artful in a blue collar, industry kinda style. Definitely worth a stop if your in south Dakota.
