Crack'd Pot Restaurant & Bakery

Ate here back in late April. I thought I had left a review but I guess I only left a comment on Facebook about how much we liked eating here. Here was my FB "review" comment:
Just ate here today, for the first time. They were having the Taco Tuesday lunch specials so I had the smothered burrito. It was SO SO SO GOOD!! From Tennessee so I don't guess I will really get to try anything else but I recommend this place!

Ok, I am going to be a tad biased on this review. I grew up going to this restaurant and it was a favorite when I was in my early 20's. I hadn't been to it in over 25 years so....with that said.....it is dated. As in, time stopped decor wise, everything is old (and not in the fun collector way), and it really just needs to be gutted and redone. HOWEVER, the food is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and attentive. It still has that home cooked food and the pie case full of pies and cakes as well as the down home feeling you expect when you go to the Crack'd Pot. So, if you aren't expecting a lot in the way of the decor but want a good meal and dessert served up by people who feel like family then this is the place to go.

Vast selections on the salad bar. Staff all appear to be 50+. Great service and yummy food! The pies, while I didn't try any, looked amazing and home made.

Oh this place was perfect! Super fast & friendly service, 5 stars on that! Beautiful space and wonderful food!!

It was exceptional!! And the wine and cocktails were amazing!! We had crab cakes for starters that were delicious, my husband had a burger that I would say was gourmet quality and I had a salad with chicken breast, cooked to perfection, and a bed of quality greens, with goat cheese and pecans! We had the blood orange margaritas and blackberry mules!! Such an amazing dinner!!

Good home style cooking, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Kids spaghetti meal was great and the fries were well seasoned, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Nothing fancy, just very good food.
