Golden Bowl Restaurant

After being married to a South Dakota woman for years, she told me this was the definitive place for Chinese food anywhere. And she is right! This is great food, amazing chicken wings and if you're coming from out of town be prepared for a great food experience. That 'place that you think is the best" in your hometown, it's not.

We were so happy to return to the Golden Bowl after the last year. This is our favorite restaurant that never disappoints in staff or food. Over thirty years of history (since it was the Golden Wall).

Glad to have table service, which was adequate. Food was good, vegetables in one dish were sparce & less desired cuts but flavor was still fine. One section of seating was obviously not used with distinct clutter...cordless drill, other tools, disassembled vacuum, etc. About five or six tables in use during visit, so we were socially distant. No sign they wouldn't have used all available tables if demand would have required it...welcome to SD. I enjoyed being able to be seated and served good food.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. I'm glad I got it to go.

We have been going here for over 20 years and will never stop. It is our go to Chinese restaurant for sure. The food is always wonderful and we have never been disappointed. Great friendly service too!!
