Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We went out to eat for my wife’s birthday. We were seated nearly right away. Our server was kind and courteous. We had a great time with a great meal, served promptly.

Good not great, a lot of prepackaged food. Had the BBQ Tangler Burger, the toppings were good but the burger itself was not juicy at all.

Perkins used to have some of the best pancakes around. Recently I had my go to order, Granny's Country Omelette w Cakes. The pancakes used to be light, moist and airy. These were dense, dry and barely edible (thank goodness the syrup was still good!).

Very clean, they promote table distancing and employee mask usage. Great food.

Excellent service waitress was outstanding. Friendly kept drinks refilled asked about pie that came with my meal I was too full she paid it to go

The food is great but the one aspect that deserves 5 stars....Ellen, our server! Very rarely do I ever meet someone who is so sweet, that makes me just enjoy being there. It was like we truly were her guests and she treated us as if we were old friends. Her smile and welcoming attitude just warms your heart. Never have i enjoyed a meal because of a server...until now. While we were there, I noticed she cared for all her tables with the same enthusiasm and warmth! This particular Perkins has such good food, its so hard to choose what to eat, but seriously, they could put gravel on my plate and Ellen would still make it an enjoyable experience!
