El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant

I’m kicking myself for not eating here sooner. Our meal was absolutely delicious, and it was easy to find a gluten free option for myself on the menu. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our server was wonderful, and if she was busy with another table the other staff were great about topping off our drinks and chips. We will definitely be back!

It's always phenomenal food! My husband and I are never disappointed when we visit. The food has so much flavor, and it is never greasy or soggy. The beans and rice are always so delicious. The beans and rice aren't dry like most other restaurants. This is the only place we eat where we WANT to take the beans and rice home. The service is excellent, and we appreciate the smiling faces when we walk in. This is the best Mexican food in all of Rapid City.

lovely! 4 ⭐️ for margaritas. could be better, meat portions could be slightly larger, and interior real estate could be bigger. food is excellent otherwise! great service!

really really good - our server was amazing and our food came out super fast!! dishes were authentic and flavorful, alongside being absolutely GIGANTIC!! I enjoyed the pork tamales the best and would highly recommend them :)

It was rush hour when me and my mom stopped to enjoy some delicious food, it took a while to get sat at a table but it was worth the wait because the gentleman cleaned it thoroughly.. He immediately asked what we would like to drink and brought them over fast. Another gentleman brought us over some complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious. My mom ordered a combination plate that came with a shredded beef enchilada, shredded beef taco , rice and beans. The plate was heavily portioned and worth the cost . I ordered shredded beef nachos that I customized and that size of the plate was huge and again worth the cost. I loved the service we got and the food here. I definitely want to make this a once a week stop here to have a delicious meal.
