Have you guys heard of this place?!
A hidden gem for sure.
Tucked in behind a gas station just off of one of Rapid's busiest streets.
They have a large menu of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, beverages, and sweet treats.
I gave it four stars. Not because the food is over-the-top - apparently that's not their reputation nor goal - rather they are known for the speed at which they serve you basic fast food staples.
I recommend their McChicken sandwich sans the mayo (add the Chick-fil-a sauce you bought in a squeeze bottle at Walmart). Cheap and passing.
Also. Their hot fudge sundae is a perfect treat. Right size. Good taste.
My elderly neighbor - who used to snowblow his driveway in his swimming trucks - would shout this phrase while sipping orange soda on hot summer days, rocking in his porch chair that feels apt for this review.
"Da-da-da-da-daa! I'm lovin' it!"

Typical American McDonald's food, but the staff were stellar. Only downside, since there isn't a fountain drink refill station you have to wait in line or flag down one of the busy workers who are delivering food.

Clean and quick! Only knock was the lack of a fountain drink machine in the seating area. You had to go to the counter for a refill?

Ok, when I write a review I want to be as fair and partial as I can when it comes to food places (especially fast-food places). First off none of the pictures you see on the ordering boards will come to you looking like that! It will never look as good; it is a strategic marketing tool. Second of all this place is about feeding the masses, and fast. So, when it comes to consistency at this McDonald's they can sometimes get things looking wrong or give you wrong items. The accuracy of this place is rather quite good considering how fast they have to get everyone moving. I would say about 85% of the time they get it right! When they don't is because they have young teenagers working and are inexperienced at paying attention to details. This is also the case when it comes to the meet and greet with these teenagers at this location. They can sometimes not smile, not look up at you, not even say a word to you when handing out your order to you. This would be a management training opportunity! The food does come out most of the time looking good, not sloppily made or thrown together. It is deliberate on the way it is made and made to order! I would say this is the second-best McDonald's in Rapid City. If you do get a wrong item or an item missing on your order, just tell them and they will always make it right for you! You can't go wrong at this place when you want to scratch your fast-food itch!
