Winner Chicken Dinner

Came here on our way from Sioux Fall back to Rapid City. Saw it on Facebook from a friend who had been here and being a lover of fried chicken decided to take the back roads to try it. Glad we did!! Everything was great!! The chicken was hot, crispy, and succulent – and I had white meat, so that is saying a lot! The coleslaw was slightly sweet, the way my mom used to make it :) and their fries!! Oh not to mention the caramel pecan chocolate cheesecake!!
The food is homemade, the service is exceptional, and the owner, Mr. Duane, is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet- Winner Chicken Dinner is worth the trip!!
There is road construction right now, so just go around the back. We were the only ones eating inside but it was continuously busy with people coming in for their orders or picking up orders at drive-through.
You know it’s good when the locals keep them busy!

not bad if you get your bird right out of the broaster.. not all that if you get your bird from under the heat lamps... side portions are small and things are a bit spendy for heat lamp chicken ... I miss Cal's DQ chicken personally ....

We dined in and were pleased with the chicken for the lunch special. The chicken was very crispy and tasty. Potatoes were a bit soggy but probably just bad timing on our end. We were hoping to see a chicken sandwich on the menu but it is a fairly new business. It is definatly worth the stop

Great chicken and sides. Not a huge menu, but everything was good. They refilled my ice tea even though it was busy. Staff is friendly.

Great place for chicken, given its location. Very crispy. Simple basic menu. The coleslaw could use some work, and the chicken was good. I ordered the 4pc Dinner. See photos. Definitely coming back if I'm craving chicken. Happy to see it's not a big chain store.
