Great Plains Family Restaurant

We went in for lunch. We were told to seat ourselves, which we did. No one greeted us at our table. A server was taking care of tables all around us. She never looked at us. Another party came in the server took their drink order, and delivered it. We still waited. The server didn't look at us but continued working all around us. We walked up to the hostess and asked for drinks, and she said she would send someone. No one came. We walked up to the hostess and said no one is helping us, so we will have the buffet, but we would like some drinks. We got our food, and no one came. Now, the server avoided us altogether, but she waited on the table behind us. We stopped a young girl clearing tables and asked her for drinks. She happily brought them. The hostess came and apologized and asked us if we wanted the bill, so we said yes. We paid and left. No contact with a server. Weird day.

Delicious and fresh salad. Sandwich was equally as good. My husband had the all day breakfast and it was very good. Atmosphere was good the food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen but it was noon hour.

We both had biscuits and gravy and coffee Was well worth the stop. Good food and service.

I love this restaurant I absolutely love the family that owns it they are amazing in every way and I am just so thankful that we have a restaurant like this around this local area. Literally home-cooked meals and they make you feel like you r family. Love love love the food

It's one of the best restaurants I have ever been to for breakfast.

Local eggs and meat. The omelet was amazing. Great big pieces of really good bacon. The hash browns were perfect.

Good coffee.

Excellent homemade pie! Don't miss.

Clean and comfortable. Great views of the Missouri River during breakfast.
