Mr. Wok Chinese Hibachi Grill

It feels like I'm eating frozen tv dinners,but then again ,I like tv dinners .The staff is wonderful...

I moved to Clinton about a year ago, and I stumbled across this place while looking for restaurants in the area. I went with my parents a few days ago for the first time, and it was excellent! I had sweet & sour chicken, my Mom had honey chicken, and my Dad had shrimp with vegetables. The portions were reasonably sized, the order arrived quickly, and everything was served on attractive plates. For under $7, the lunch specials are a good deal - entree, soup, and an egg roll. The wonton soup was some of the best I've ever had - not too salty, which is a hard thing to find at most restaurants. They also have mei fun, which is a little tougher to find at your average Chinese place (at least in the southern US). The place was small and cozy, with several booths. The waitress was attentive and quick with refills - speaking of drinks, I was glad to see the fountain drinks were reasonably priced ($1.69 at the time of this review.) We've found a new favorite Chinese restaurant, and we will definitely be back!

Just finished my leftovers from my visit yesterday. So good!
My husband and I ordered egg rolls, crab rangoons, Chinese donuts, and sesame chicken and beef and broccoli respectively. The egg rolls were light and crispy, very hot, and obviously made by hand (they weren't identical like mass produced egg rolls). The crab rangoons were also light, crisp, hot, and super creamy, with a little onion crunch, and sweetness. Perfection! The Chinese donut order surprised us, they were larger than the donuts at some other places we've been, and so we had to bring some home for the kids 'cause we couldn't finish them. My broccoli beef order had crisp fresh veggies and silken beef, the sauce was not bland, it was really good. The sesame chicken, I've noticed others complain about, but the chicken was very tender, the deep fried breading was satisfying, and the sauce was lighter on the sweetness. It's not honey sesame so if one is looking for super sweet it's not, but it was also delicious! If you're looking for a tasty Chinese place this is it. If you want to be transported to China...a restaurant that does that...the food will be a lot more expensive.

We always order to go! Our food is made fast and fresh. It’s always so hot even by the time we get home. The service is great and everyone is very friendly. My go to Chinese spot with a large menu! I love their orange chicken.

I went right at opening time on a weekend and was the first one in the door. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu is pretty standard for American Chinese food. They also have hibachi but I did not look closely at that. It is always the same everywhere you go. It is very clean and neat. It is a small place but seems fine for a small town. I had the szechuan beef. It was certainly as hot as I was expecting but it was delicious. It was a very large helping and was at a very reasonable price. I also had the hot and sour soup and it was also very good.
