Excellent meats and catfish. We arrived just prior to closing, were warmly welcomed, and did not feel rushed to finish. This restaurant is still "working out the kinks" in its menu selection and service. If our positive experience during their "infancy" is indicative of the future, I am sure that they will be very successful. (I ordered the meat sampler with slaw and BBQ beans. My wife had catfish, collard greens, and baked potato. The meat/fish was excellent. Vegetables were very good. Service was excellent.)

Stopped by first time yesterday, ordered the pulled pork, friend ordered ribs. Both delectable: smoked just right to render off the fat, but not dry. Both were not in need of sauce, but their house sauce (sweet) just added to it: just a little, please.
We'll be back to try other menu items.

I was craving pulled pork and stopped in yesterday evening and ordered a To- Go order. I was a bit nervous because I had never been and hadn't really heard anything about the place. I ordered pulled pork platter with baked potato and hush puppies. It was some of the best food I have ever had. And definitely the best pulled pork I had. It took them maybe 10 minutes to have it ready for me and the people were super nice and friendly!

Family place, veterans own and family operated. Food was out of this world wonderful. Love the prices and food. Great place, real smoked food. Clean, polite, wheelchair accessible, non smoking, clean restroom. Come down and try the best smoke brisket in town.
