Coal Creek Smokehouse BBQ

Legit East TN bbq spot with great food and even better service. Basically a little house off main street that serves a variety of meat plates, sandwiches, appetizers and more. Spoon bread and the potato salad stood out to me. More impressive though was that the hot food was hot and the cold food cold.

Wow! I ordered an array of Smokehouse BBQ for a dinner with out of town guests--pork, brisket, ribs, sides, and buttermilk pie. All dishes were outstanding. As well, Stephanie and her staff (including her Dad) went far beyond the call of duty to make and deliver an unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Simply put, the food is delicious and creative. Great little country place to eat with friendly folks. We enjoy going there to relax and have a cold beer with dinner.

Stopped here for lunch on my way to Michigan and it was amazing. I’m from Florida and this beats every pit stop in town. I tried the wings, the brisket, pulled chicken, dirty beans and rice, and Mac n cheese! All of it was fucking amazing! Letta was my server and she was great, brought out the basket of sauces I was in heaven ❤️????

I can't rave enough about wonderful this little place happens to be. We were on our way back home to Ohio when we saw a sign for Coal creek. Definitely was worth the stop. Portions were not only generous most everything is homemade. The pie was fabulous. The staff is like friends I have known for awhile. Staff was Friendly, made suggestions and explained the smoking process to us. I only wish we lived closer to visit more often. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious!!
On our next trip south I can promise we will be making a stop at Coal Creek Smokehouse.
