Good fish, white beans were on point. Definitely coming back some day.
We finally got to try the Fish Trapp tonight and it was delicious! The catfish was fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection! Service was great and everyone was kind. We will definitely go back.
Go between 1:00 and 3:00 like I did with my wife (no wait). I was thinking that this was going to be like fast food. Was I wrong. I got the white fish. It was moist and tender. The breading was out of this world. Potato fries were okay but I hope someday they would batter them also. Even the chef even came out to talk to us. When is the last time that happen. I do hope you don't go because I don't like waiting in line.
Finally got to eat here. The catfish plate with two sides was plenty of food for me. I chose Cole slaw and fries as the two sides with bottled water to drink. The food was prompt in getting to our table. The fish and fries were nice and hot and the slaw was perfect. The owner suggested we try the white beans next time and bright us a little sample to taste. The ambiance took me right back to a seaside eatery. The food was a little pricey and the parking can be a little rough but it was worth it!
Arrived just before closing. They graciously and freshly prepared a hot plate to go. Super personable and friendly. The whiting fish breading was a flavorful blend of spices that will delight your taste buds. Fresh hot fries, yummy slaw.
