Love Lee's chicken. Will definitely be eating there again..
The green beans are excellent and the coleslaw is great too.
Fresh, hot, and flavorful really enjoy eating here. Everyone I have ever interacted with at Lee's has been friendly, and kind. Food comes up quickly, never disappointed.
Okay but not fantastic. We were there at 7 pm on a Saturday night and although the service was slow, the staff were very friendly, which was a plus because if not, I would have given them just two stars. We got three kinds of chicken: fried, baked and their chicken poppers ( like a nugget). Fried chicken lacked flavor big time. I've had grocery store fried chicken that was better! My husband complained that his baked chicken was dried out and the poppers were bland. To redeem the experience, the coleslaw was good, as was the macaroni and cheese ( Kraft) and they make good biscuits. Their green beans, however, were awful! It was as if they had purchased no-salt-added canned green beans, thrown in some stringy ends of something that maybe resembled bacon, and warmed it all up. Salt didn't even improve them. I had to take them home and simmer them with onion and butter before they were edible! So yeah, going back? Probably won't. Unsatisfactory spend of $30.
I absolutely LOVE this place. We have to drive about 20 miles to get it but it is well worth the drive. The food is absolutely amazing. The chicken, tenders, livers, gizzards, biscuits, sides and sweet tea are out of this world. The employees are so friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile. The food is always very fresh and seasoned perfectly. The portions are large and the prices are very fair. Everytime I've been here they are always very busy but are very quick to serve you. I would drive even further to eat here. It's just a tad off the beaten path but still easy to find. Writing this review my taste buds are really kicking in, lol. My mouth is watering at the thought of their food. It's really that good. I may have to take a drive now. This is the first review I've written that has effected me this way. It really is that good.
