Trailhead Steakhouse

Would have giving 5 stars. Only thing I'd do different is when someone comes in the waiter needs to get the drink orders in so their not sitting there thinking you forgot about them. The food was great! The turtle cheesecake is just wonderful. I recommend going.

Update: I’ve changed my rating to five stars because every time we come to TN we eat here. It has been consistently good each and every time! also they seem to have made improvements with how they wait on people.

One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at, at any price! Altho menu seems a little pricey, it is very reasonable considering the large portions. One meal is often enough for two people! Food is exceptional. Homemade soup was out of this world delicious. Catfish was great and shrimp dinner had the largest shrimp I have ever seen served in a restaurant...and delicious. Steak was large and perfectly prepared. Service was great and atmosphere is cozy & charming. Super clean place with 100% ratings on their inspections. Make a reservation...this place is busy!

The food was great and the price was not quite as much as a 'fancy' steakhouse. We tried the jalapeno corn fritters, the spinach dip and chips and the potato skins and all were good. The barbecue sauce that comes with the fritters was fantastic. The steaks were cooked to the customers specification and we were asked to check the steaks to make sure they were to our liking when the food was delivered. They could use some more salad bar options or specialty salad options but a great choice for dinner or lunch in Townsend when you're trying to get away.

Wonderful place to eat. Make reservations otherwise wait could be lengthy. That said, definitely worth the wait. Very reasonable prices and food better than excellent regardless of what you order. Highly recommended!

I had a steak here on the first evening of a recent vacation. The steak was so good that I went back on the last day to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. Great food. Great service. Great prices.
