Old Fort

This is a great, family owned local restaurant that is a cornerstone of Cleveland, Tennessee's small restaurant scene. Good meat and potato spot with great sweet tea.

Very clean excellent home cooking food friendly people that treat everyone like family. We love to eat here. I would recommend OLD FORT to anyone.

This is a homey local meat and three restaurant. The space is ample and airy.
Unfortunately the food was not particularly good or pleasurable. I got the meat and three entree. The country fried stake was a little too salty and the flavor was underwhelming, not very good. Of the veggie sides, the steamed cabbage was my favorite, very good, but the turnip greens were not seasoned Southern style; they tasted boiled in salt water and that's it. The fried okra was fine. The cornbread was very disappointing. Dry, not much flavor to it, and I used it to soak up the extra gravy, but then it was too salty.
Overall a decent eat, and very affordable.
Wouldn't go back, but it's fine in a pinch.

Stopped in for breakfast. Very delicious food. Very clean place and the staff made you feel welcome and at home. Omelets are so good and so was everything else. Highly recommend. Very reasonable prices and large portions of food. Give them a try. You will be very happy with your visit.
