    Nice place. Good food and the employees seem to actually enjoy their job there. Girlfriend and I go there often and get great service every time.

    Being from Texas, I'm spoiled to good Mexican food. Visiting family in Alamo & the surrounding area all my life, it used to be impossible to find any Mexican food, much less a good place. All that's changed after a couple of recent visits to El Mexicano!
    Very well done Tex-Mex at good prices. Chips & hot sauce are on-point and everything I've tried there has been delicious and there's plenty of it. Dessert list sounded great, but I've been too full every time to get to it.
    Staff is friendly and attentive, too. We'll be back, when we visit!
