So after seeing all the glowing reviews posted for this place, we decided to try it out. I wish we hadn't.
The shop is small and the decorations are sort of different- mostly Christmas based. The menu is limited but has a variety considering it only has about 2dozen items.
They do have real cloth tablecloths and napkins, if that sort of thing impresses you.
I had the chicken Alfredo and my wife had a cheeseburger. The Alfredo was homemade and had lots of things in it, but I really didn't care for it much. The burger was ok, but the potato wedges were pretty anemic, small and few. The side salad was pretty small but the blue cheese dressing was excellent. I wanted my wife to order a side salad, but I'm glad she didn't since the menu price for a side salad was 5 bucks!
All in all, it's not a bad place, just wasn't all I had expected it to be.
Excellent breakfast, and to our surprise we walked in to a lovely decorated place. We had breakfast by the Christmas tree in July. Service was great, our family of 4 came in, then a family of 9 came in followed by a family of 7 and with 1 waitress we definitely got great service. Great place, highly recommend. (Glad we got there before they closed for Tom's 18th Birthday celebration)
GREAT food. Nice staff. Cozy setting with interesting artwork. Reasonably priced. Will return again when in the area.
It's a nice little down home place. Great selection on their menu for breakfast very catchy names for their items also. Good serves and for a one man line in the kitchen very quick and of course great food. The declaration of this little Cafe was very warm and relaxing. Forsure worth the stop.
