417 Union

We had plans to go elsewhere for our final brunch of the trip, but the doorman at the Bobby Hotel recommended this place and it was a solid decision. Love the traditional southern atmosphere and hospitality. Marcie was our server - she was so friendly and helpful. If you go here, order more biscuits than you think you want (with the gravy!). They are delicious and you will eat them all. We even ordered some of the jam to take home as a souvenir.

Awesome atmosphere. Stopped by for the 1st time this morning. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. We sat at the bar and the server there was the best. Will definitely stop by again and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nashville.

I started working downtown a few months ago. I tried 417 Union for the first time this past week. I have been living in Nashville for eight years and I had no idea what I was missing. The food is incredible. I grew up in rural West Tennessee on real southern cooking, and this place knows how to do it the way it's meant to be done. I had meat-and-three and I couldn't have been happier. Of course, it's very heavy food. For me, 417 Union will be an excellent place for a cheat meal. Everything was seasoned perfectly, every bite was delicious, and the food came out piping hot, as it should be. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed the service. My waiter was super friendly and helpful. I will be back!

It is a nice place for a good breakfast. The service was very friendly and good. The food was fine, and the banana pudding was superrrr delicious.

Tiny dive with historical value. Delicious food and fabulous chicken! I'll come back someday!
