I have lived in Florida, Massachusetts, and Tennessee...and these are some of the best Venezuelan food items I've tasted. After visiting for the first time, it truly became an antojito to eat an arepa, cachapa, pastelito, and an empanada--- not separately-- but all at once. It's an experience to taste the combination of flavors. Also, the owner is a very lovely person and it's admirable to see her run this all on her own. Plus, there's also a cute seating area next to the food truck to cure any angst that comes with waiting for food.
This is the first Venezuelan food i tried. I loved the food on first order (Empanadas). i went back to try out EVERYTHING one by one.
Empandas: Chicken, Shredded Beed, And White Cheese = tastes great
Aperas: is like corn sandwich and is like little sweet from Corn and spicy from meats.
Cachapas: ORDER before you you get there, this is A MUST TRY item.
Pabellon: it was great plate and different but good
Patacon: just like Cachapas this is also a MUST TRY item.
don't forget to grab Cheese Sticks and the Passion Fruit Juice if available.
overall i love this place, they're open from Thursday through Sunday (closed Monday Tuesday Wednesday)
Owner is sweet, friendly and knows how to cook.
Highly Recommended Place
I come here for their empanadas. They have the best empanadas in all of middle Tennessee.
They are really friendly, and nice people.
They make you feel welcome.
I love this place! The food is amazing. :3 I don’t know what the people below going on about cause she speaks decent english and she doesn’t even sell coffee.. lol.
Besides enjoying of a nice parrilla (Venezuelan barbecue), the service was courteous and friendly. Also, you can’t go wrong with the arepas and empanadas.
