I visited Barr’s..The service from the owner was great, the one younger lady was also very nice..The elderly lady was more like what’s for u no personality and that is ok we can take different personalities but train each to just smile and go over the steps. Write down what is the first thing u day when u see a customer and each step afterwards and how do u up sale.. The Food Could Have Been Good With Just A little less Black Pepper & a few other spices. It seems the food was just full of pepper no other flavors. The spaghetti was only peppery. Add a good sauce it doesn’t take that much more time to get the flavor correct..Also season ur meats with other spices, just peppery which I don’t mind but u just don’t dump pepper in there and think this is the flavor..Taste the food or have someone else taste the food thats not in your circle that knows food and it could be good. Use a few different spices, get another cook in there to expand the taste.. Good Soul Food spots are needed and wanted..Premium meat & 2 is $18.99 Peppery Ribs Or A Turkey Wing plus 2 vegetables makes u feel cheated if the flavor isn’t there..13.99 for 1 pork chop and 2 vegetables and the chops were soft and the batter not crispy..No one argues price but price has to match what ur get for it. I’m not complaining just being honest in hopes that owners and management see this and take heed..I like to see folks that start a business last in business.. Reviews are meant to help out but I have to be honest to help...

Very friendly staff with a great selection of home cooked meals! The lemon pound cake was amazing :)

The food is amazing! Great home cooking without the high prices. The staff was super friendly with a clean atmosphere!! Family meals too!!
