Bruegger's Bagels

Great tasting bagels and sandwiches. But at least 10 minutes to get my order every time I’m in here. So 5 stars on taste!

but the service is so slow and unfortunately because they are so busy the staff tends to be unable to take a moment to say “hi” or “ thanks” for coming in. Or really anything that doesn’t seem to make them have to work harder or longer.
I will continue to go but maybe another worker to lighten the load . The staff looks just worn out. I feel bad coming in at times.
Side note great selection in the morning.. almost nothing by mid day...

If you're a ny bagel lover this is an essential stop for you to make if you're homesick like I get frequently. An awesome bagel like from back home can make all the difference. And these bagels make the difference. It's like a warm hug from you're favorite person!!worth going and worth spending the pennies they charge!!

Belle Meade location: They have good bagels...when they have them. Three times in the past year or so, I've gone around 3PM (so two hours before closing), only to find them out of something as basic as plain bagels with no plans to have any more that day. One other time, it happened at 2PM.
That warning being issued (call before you go), their bagels are homemade right there and are good. I usually get nova with cream cheese and sliced cucumbers and the nova has never had bones and has hardly ever had brown ends. Staff is friendly and efficient. Your order is prepared while you watch. I'd rate it 5 stars if it weren't a bagel place that is too often out of plain bagels (and other types).
