Claim Jumper Restaurants

This is a totally honest review rating each dish served to my table. The chicken pot pie was a definite 5 out of 5. The macaroni cheese burger was maybe a 2. The meat was dry and the noodles had no cheese! None. Just dry noodles. I give a low rating when I think certain things should never leave the kitchen. The widow maker was not much better. The meat was still a little dry. The cook was nice enough to include the stem of the avocado. Shouldn't happen. Onion rings were very good. Neither burger was anywhere in the realm of $15 burger. The twisted jambalaya was very good. I didn't like having to pick the tails off when the shrimp is covered in gravy but the flavor is on point. Noodles cooked properly. Wedge salad was good. The drizzle was not as tangy as I like but the blue cheese was very good quality.

Food was decent but nothing to write home about. Took over an hour to get our meals and the place wasn't that busy.
The waiter was friendly and nice.

We just ordered one of the lunch specials and when the menu says small believe it. The food was good but we would have gotten larger portions anywhere else and for the same price. It was our first time eating there and it's doubtful that we will go back. We enjoy going to different restaurants, just like to get our money's worth. Didn't do that today

UPDATE: The restaurant reached out to me in an effort to persuade us to visit again and give the servers another chance. We will absolutely visit again at our next opportunity & I will gladly update this review with the new experience. I do appreciate how this was handled by management!

The food was very good! If this review was based solely on the food, we would give 10 stars!
The service, however, was abhorrent from the very moment we walked in the door. More than half of the tables were empty yet we were told there was a 20 minute wait. We waited.
We were seated, and waited another several minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. Our drinks came & we placed our appetizer order...it was about 20min before that came out & another 15min before our server came to take our actual orders (a different server brought out the appetizer). All the tables around us were given bread, but we never were.
The restaurant was never full. Our particular server did not appear to have any other tables to worry about, but service from beginning to end was grossly subpar.
