Good was delivered quickly. Hostess and waiter were prompt and friendly.
The total experience was ruined by a sullen, rude cashier at checkout. She seemed annoyed to be there and started off in space as if I was not there. Even after my credit card transaction was complete, she stared away with a disgusted look on her face. I had to ask for my receipt and sh seemed begrudgened to give it to me.
She is the weak link in an otherwise pleasant meal.
Great location, and because of this it can tend to be busy so you may have to wait longer than planned. That is a great time to sit at one of the tic tac toe tables (inside or outside) and enjoy the game. Reliable service and good food just as you'd expect.
I came here with a friend for some lunch. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Salad, which consists of a really great bed of mixed baby greens 2 deviled eggs, shredded Colby cheese, a wedge of Colby cheese, some garlic parmesan sourdough croutons, and some fried chicken strips, with your choice of dressing. Simple enough, and usually very good. Well, when we were seated, one server took our beverage order, then another server took our food order. Then we waited, and waited, and waited some more, and still no food. The only thing that had to be cooked was the chicken strips. After several minutes of waiting, and watching people who came in after we did get their food, finish, and leave, our server came over and told us that they had just finished making the strips and our order would be right out. To me, that seemed like "Oops, I forgot about your order. " based on the expression on her face and her tone of voice. Well, the salads finally arrived, and I was not entirely surprised to find that my strips, instead of being piping hot, were stone cold. While everything was entirely edible, and, I must say, pretty tasty, the fact that our server had forgotten us made the whole experience a bad one. We'll definitely consider other options before returning to this restaurant.
