Drifters Tennessee Barbeque (BBQ) Joint

Follow the directions to the alleyway entrance to find the open air deck and live music being performed.

The BBQ was pretty decent and the beer was plentiful. For those who don’t like the heat, the inside was cool and collected.

This is by far the best BBQ joint around, and I would HIGHLY recommend the pulled pork BBQ nachos. It's enough food for three people and it's always SO good. Seriously if you get anything else you're doing yourself wrong. They offer live music all the time, and a decent variety of local beer (note dont try the Peanutbutter one, that was a mistake). Inside is always clean and your food comes out quickly even if the place is packed. Also one time some random dude asked if I wanted to smoke a blunt with him in the parking lot which was pretty awesome. No one ever shares in Kentucky. Don't go. Stay here and eat nachos.

Really liked this place. Simple barbecue offerings with 5 different sauces to choose from. We went for lunch and had bbq sandwiches. I had pulled pork and my wife has the 3 sliders(pork, chicken, and brisket). Brisket was her favorite. Our 4 year old went with the pork sandwich and ate it all which is unusual. Fries and tots were fantastic. We only needed one side for the two of us. Decent but smallish beer selection. Good bourbon selection. Nice outdoor seating area and they often have live music. The pay lot next to them is pricey so look for street or one of the cheaper lots.

I adore this place. There is a lovely bartender there, named Marie, that is INCREDIBLE!! She can literally make any drink from her head, or come up with something AMAZING!

THE best BBQ in Nashville. I don't care what anyone says. It's always fast always good and the service is great. Live and loud music and BBQ mix for a great enjoyable atmosphere. Our server was Aisha and she was very nice and welcoming. By the way the new Mexico BBQ sauce is a whole nother level of amazing I can't explain.
