Edley’s Bar-B-Que

I stopped here a couple of times while I was in Nashville. I had the barbecue chicken one night and the hot chicken another. The barbecue chicken was delicious. The hot chicken was served as tenders, which aren't up my alley, so I won't give an opinion on those. The potatoes salad and baked beans were awesome. The jalapeno corn bread was to die for one night and stale the other. So sad!

The food is the best BBQ in Nashville area. Fast service and seperate bar area so you can order a beer while waiting for your fabulous food. Don't go downtown just head over the bridge- you will be glad you did. Try the hot stuff. Lip stinging and finger lickin good. (I eat their hot BBQ sauce at the table off my finger for my "warm up" - so good!)

Legendary eats here, easy going menu, heavy and dark urban atmosphere, love the casual feel from the sides to throw alongside (pun intended) a dish and the various trippy bits around BBQ fantasies. Don't forget the banana pudding, amazing stuff! Staff was relaxed and helpful, food arrived rather quick, we all enjoyed our dishes tho some thought previous visits churned out better meats. I bet there's always a few days the cuts aren't the best because my tacos were fantastic.

The food was delicious, very flavorful. I thought the fries were particularly good. My husband had the brisket and said it was tender and tasty. The only drawback was that the restaurant was pretty warm inside and seating was limited.
