Green Hills Grille

We came with friends for lunch on a Sunday. The Grille was near capacity but service was prompt and Ashley delivered with a smile. Hubby & I loved our meals. He gave the Chicken Salad Melt sandwich an A grade (unusual for him). My Plum Salmon plate was divine--the plum soy glaze sweet/tart & salmon moist, with crispy rice base & beautiful grilled vegetables. I would happily return for that every week if we lived in Nashville.

Great food and drinks. Server Jon was great. The pan seared scallops were divine. The asparagus mushroom medley with the crab infused rice pilaf was perfection. The drinks were so good and strong but not over powering. The bibb salad with homemade blue dressing was everything!! Will be back for sure!

Today, September 15, 2019 I had a delicious meal at this establishment. Jon was my server. Very attentive. The Whole staff was caring, funny, helpful, kind, excellent. The food GREAT! The tea, GREAT! The restaurant was a neighborhood staple. You could just tell. A place that everyone knew your name, but welcomed new comers. The atmosphere was warm inviting, upbeat, very nice digs, not fussy but inviting. I am telling you one and ALL get to this Green Hills Grille, the one not far from Parnassus Books. I DO NOT GIVE REVIEWS OFTEN, BUT I AM DOING IT NOW. GO......MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOTHING SHORT OF WONDERFUL! Even the bartender was funny, singing, knowledgeable. GO!

Request Ashley!!!!! She was so awesome! It was our first time and she was sooooo fun and accommodating! She served a large group and did it with grace and ease!!

Quite fresh, relaxing and delicious. The May special steak slalad was incredibly tender. The chicken breast with capers and mashed potatoes were a perfect balance served with the red salad. Not too heavy - just warming. For my first visit in, they gave us amazing fresh strawberry shortcake on the house. A perfect touch to a lovely lunch spot on a summer day. Was pleasantly surprised by this spot. Will go back to try the 50% off wine bottles at night soon.
