Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Lower Broadway Nashville

Coming to Nashville and not trying out the famous Nashville hot chicken would be so unfair, so I would highly recommend to try out this place once.
You can find Hattie B’s Hot chicken all over Nashville but the one on Broadway stays quiet packed up all day. Their chicken is well seasoned and juicy. I really liked the taste. It’s just the long line you have to stand in to get the food.

Also if you are up for a challenge then try out the “shut the cluck up” spice level, but try it out at your own risk. It’s mad spicy.

Absolutely amazing food!!! There was always a like out the door and it's clear why. The staff and food are amazing. I do wish they would do something to pick up orders area. You have to "cut" in the line and make your way up to the counter to grab your food. Later in the evening the crowd waiting outside isn't as friendly if you know what I mean. I highly recommend trying the banana pudding!

Cool spot right on Broadway. Obviously when you’re in Nashville, you gotta get hot chicken. Well it didn’t disappoint. They have several different levels of heat so you can pick your pain level. Lol. We got just the standard hot and it was really delicious. Right amount of heat, amazing flavor and it may have been one of the most perfectly cooked pieces of fried chicken I’ve ever had in general. Super crispy and the meat was still moist. Also, the crinkle cut fries are on point. Forgot to take a pic of the food but if you want amazing hot chicken come to Hattie B’s. And when you see the line, trust me it’s worth the wait!

Only bad thing is the wait time (40+min standing line) but you’ll have your food really quick after you’ve finally ordered. The meal is a 5/5: reasonable prices, lots of drink and side options, and amazing chicken. Great choice amongst many in downtown Nashville, and the line is out the door from noon till night. I recommend the medium spicy tenders with Mac n cheese!

Easily the best Hattie B’s experience I’ve had in town. The speed of the service along was fantastic, but the food is obviously what set it apart. Each item we ordered was fresh and tasty, without any burnt or overly spicy notes which have been an issue at other places before. The sandwich I had was very juicy and had the perfect amount of spice for my taste. Definitely a must-go for me whenever I’m in town next.
