Husk is a great restaurant and the atmosphere is truly special. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it did not disappoint. The building is beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests. We saw no less than 3 waiters during our meal which was a bit confusing but the service was excellent so we didn't mind.
The menu offers a well curated selection of seasonal dishes at reasonable prices (considering the quality) however the drink menu offers a mind boggling selection at eye popping prices. Par for the course in Nashville I suppose but be prepared for your bill to double after just a couple of drinks.
The food was exceptional although my pork was a bit overcooked. Do yourself a favour and get some of the country ham. I believe it's aged in house and who cares what it's served with because it's the best ham I have ever eaten. I will dream about it until I die.
Excellent, had lunch at the bar, deviled eggs, fried chicken, then the cornmeal butter cake. All were really good, to be honest I think the cake at the end was my favorite and I'm really not a dessert guy. I did have slight food envy of those that had the cheeseburger as that looked seriously good!
Overall food, service and atmosphere were nice. Would definitely like to come for dinner with the other half next time we are in Nashville.
Would definitely recommend.
Got the sirloin in the bar. Drink and atmosphere right on. Butter bean side was by far the best Lima bean dish I've ever had. My mama should be ashamed. Beautiful building. Next time I dine outside.
Husk is a lovely place for dinner. The setting is perfect - a lovely brick house built in the 1870s, with vegetable gardens around the side and shaded by big trees. The food is farm to table and very well executed. The service is great too! To save a few bucks, come at lunch or brunch. They are open then too.
Cheeseburger and wedges are AMAZING!
The wedges have a smoky flavor that I have never tasted before, very good surprise and the burger was out of this world.
I ate solo for lunch at the bar downstairs. Great atmosphere and people.
Husk lemonade is tasty as well (especially with some liquor)
