J. Alexander's Redlands Grill

We have been coming here for years and always had great meals, sorry this time they were a bit off their game. The food didn't come out as good as it has been in the past. And we we're seated at the rear of the restaurant by the kitchen. Not bad seating, but The staff took up the next booth and were a little chatty, whilst eating their dinner. not offended at all being seated around the staff, but they were having a really good time. I will be going back on my next trip and look forward to it. I will ask to be seated in the front section, just to be sure.

Food and Service was great! Ask for Abby she never let a drink get low. The manager was fantastic my husband has a food allergy and they did everything to make sure he was ok. Thanks to the whole staff for a great time in Nashville on 9/1/19 after 7pm.

Food was good, a little overpriced, for what we ordered. The deviled eggs were delicious! Our waitress seemed like she was ready to leave, not real happy. It took quite some time to get our check. I stepped out after getting a glass of wine, to smoke. The hostess said "Have a good night!" This happened again, as I went back out after eating, while we were wondering where our waitress/check was. Now as far as the hostess saying "Have a good night." It was almost like a "Pavlov's dog" response... I mean I could have walked out of there without paying for my meal twice and nobody would have known it....

Had a wonderful time! Great tasting dinners and heavenly carrot cake, nectar of the gods ???? It was our 32nd anniversary. The food was amazing and so was the service. Great staff, really made us feel welcome and pampered. Our server Maggie was charming, a real delight.
