Joe Muer Seafood - Nashville

We celebrated a sister/friend birthday here yesterday and the service was outstanding! The food was excellent! Phillip, was an outstanding addition to an already wonderful day.

We had our Friday date night dinner here. Gotta say we loved it! Karah our waitress was awesome and recommended good food choices for us. She is the best! The live music and performance was really good too. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Drinks:
Pretty Lady in Pink - sweet with a little acidity. Perfect for ladies.

All American Apple Mule - Didn’t taste much apple flavor in there but I liked the smoothness and crispy flavor

Food
Homemade bread - the cracker was the best! With the sea salt butter, we just could not stop eating it. The bread was warm and soft and tasty as well.

Surf and turf
8 oz Filet mignon - median rare was right on spot. Juicy, tender and melted in my mouth. I personally think it beats many steakhouse I have been to!

6 oz Lobster Tail - cannot say enough how great it was. Must try it with Muer Butter.

Topper Sea scallops - best sea scallop I’ve ever had. Seared right on spot. Love it.

Crème brûlée - we finished in two seconds. Really delicious. The caramelized topping was addictive!

The food was excellent and our server was the best. She went above and beyond. We did not care for the lobster bisque, and our server offered us the clam chowder. It was delicious!! I had the filet mignon and African lobster tail. The steak was cooked exactly how I requested and the lobster tail was excellent. The meal was a bit pricey. Our bill came to a little over $600 for 4 of us, but it was worth it. It was a little disappointing that a manager never came by to ask how everything was as most restaurants do.

Honestly, I didn’t love my main course. I went with some ginger tuna noodle dish based on a server recommendation. But, it didn’t matter. The drinks, the appetizers- incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared seafood, THE DESSERT- the red velvet cake was some of the best cake I’ve ever had. I couldn’t get over it. I love this restaurant.

Joe Muer is a fantastic restaurant here in Nashville. So glad we stopped by. Started with Old Fashioned and shrimp cocktail. Outstanding! The lobster bisque and chop salad were great. The entrees of medallions and shrimp and the Tristan lobster were very tasty. We finished with coconut cake and sticky toffee pudding. Definitely a great finish. We’ll be back!!! Ivan took great care of us all night!
