Ludlow's Gumbo Bar & Steak

Such a cute little place in 12 South. Was out for a Sunday morning run while visiting Nashville and met my friend here. Had a really tasty 2-4-1 Bloody Mary and the really hot bartender from Youngstown, Florida let me drink even though I didn’t have my ID. He was more tasty. Hope he looks me up next time he visits Florida. Y’all should see him when you’re in town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience tonight! The menu had so many delicious items on it, it was almost difficult to choose. The brussel sprouts were phenomenal - they melt in your mouth. All of our drinks were great. I loved that they have a variety of champagne and a frose. The gumbo was really good, a little on the salty side, but still good. The atmosphere & service were fantastic. The chandeliers are beautiful! Our server was so nice - quick and attentive.

Amazing little southern restaurant on 12 south. Any of the Gumbo options are good choices but the rest of the menu is great too. Whole interior has been redone and looks great now. If you’re visiting Nashville or if you’ve lived here, you’ll have a great time here.

Had a great time this evening. The Bartender Josh was a blast to talk to and from what I could the staff was just a happy bunch. Always a good thing to have at a local spot. Ordered myself the steak fritz with the montaquilla butter and oh my lord it was so good. it was a good mizture of what makes a good steak but had fajita like flavors. I will definitely be back to try some more of their interesting menu.

Had a fantastic brunch this morning. Good cocktails and a fun environment. Had the absolutely colossal chicken and waffles. Wish I had taken a picture it was hilariously huge. I was told they had a smaller more brunch focused menu today then normally, so i'm excited to come by on a regular night as well.
