Mala Vida

I’ve tried everything on the menu - yes it’s true - I can tell you the quality and price of the food is phenomenal! My favorites are the burger, fries and quesadilla. Highly recommend Mala Vida!

Love this place! Always been a fan of Mickey's for drinks, but I go out of my way just to eat at Mala Vida now. Hands down best quesadilla in town. The Boxstar should win an award for best chicken sandwich ever made and the Big Mickey definitely rivals any cheeseburger I've ever had. Also cool that they source from local farms. You can definitely taste the difference. Wish these guys had their own brick and mortar haha, but I'm sure they'll have one sooner than later.

Mala Vida offers a nostalgic blend of farm-to-picnic-table in the form of bar food and authentic Mexican street cuisine. My favorite items are the Big Mickey burger and the street tacos. The best part? They’re open until 2 AM—an exceptional choice for those craving delicious late-night bites in a vibrant setting.

It’s the best chicken sandwich in East Nashville and it’s not even close. Go get yourself a beer at mickeys and good eats from Mala Vida. You’ll thank me later

I love Mala Vida so much! The Big Mickey is my favorite burger in town, and its not even close! The staff is always kind, and food comes out quick! Already looking forward to the catering we have scheduled for next team event!
