Five and dime is truly divine. Hash browns are to die for. Coffee is good. Would eat every day.
We arrived after they were closed and the staff really wanted to take care of us. The biscuits and gravy were Stille available & I loved them. A big plus is the covered outdoor seating—important to corona-averse patrons
I'm impressed. It's a chain restaurant, but it has the feel of an independent. The service is immediate and attentive. Instead of waiting to be asked or pretending not to hear, sometimes the staff seems to anticipate what you might want as you eat. The volume of food is incredible. The Five & Dime and the Potatoes O'Brien are my favorite things so far. Both of my children enjoy the restaurant too.
Seriously good food at reasonable prices. They make their biscuits fresh every day, and stack them high with deliciousness. Hands down, Maple Street is the best breakfast joint in Nashville.
When you go, do yourself a favor and get yourself a cup or two of their wonderful coffee.
If I could give them more than five stars, I would. We had an AMAZING experience here! When I say this is my new favorite place for breakfast in Nashville, I mean it...and I work at a place that serves breakfast. Nothing in Nashville compares to the hospitality Maple Street Biscuit Co. showed us. The owner of this location, Brandon I believe, was seriously so kind, we're honestly tempted to drop everything and work for him! THAT is what southern hospitality looks like. When we moved here, we thought that would be the norm but unfortunately it's not always easy to find. Here though, they go beyond. He brought us over a cinnamon biscuit after our meal, just to let us try it out! After that, he brought us over to their coffee station and explained how they roast their own coffee and again, treated us to two cups of coffee so we could give it a try. We tried to pay for it but he insisted we just take it. I mean...kindness is an understatement. We're so full, it's hard to move, but we already want to go back! Anyone looking for a new favorite breakfast spot, I found it for you. You're welcome in advance.
