I had the snow pea salad which was crisp and had just a hint of a kick with the jalapeño peanut dressing. Then the fried rabbit which was delightful and moist. Not even a hint of gaminess. Ended the meal with a chocolate pot au creme that was rich and sinful. Highly recommend!
Margot is truly a treat in Nashville! My husband and I have loved this spot for years now. Delicious food, fab service, and cozy atmosphere. Go here!
I come to Nashville every year and we always visit Margot's. It's beyond fabulous every time. This year she had a catfish special. I wanted to lick my plate clean it was that good.
There is nothing to disappoint here. You will come away with happy tastebuds!!
The ONLY reason that I'm not giving 5 stars is because we waited about an hour for our food to come. This restaurant is typically reservation only, but we were able to get a table as we traveled 3 hours and were celebrating a birthday. The food was amazing! It was all so very fresh. You could taste that everything was made from scratch and ingredients were local. From the butter and bread, to the peaches and cream. It was all so light and flavorful. mmmmm, I'm getting hungry thinking about it :D The hostess was so pleasant and helped keep our children entertained. I would definitely recommend...just keep in mind that you may wait a long time for your food, but it's well worth the wait!
My husband and I went to this spot for date night. We have never been here before and I was so pleasantly surprised. It is charming and quiet, low lit and romantic. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious! We initially scoffed at the fact that we had to pay for bread... but we ended up getting two servings and joking about paying up to $20 to purchase a loaf of their fresh foccacia. I got the steak and he got swordfish. We gobbled it all up so fast. We ended it with more wine and their unique goo goo cluster dessert. I love that their menu is always changing with the freshness of the food available in our area. How cool! If you have not tried this place, go!! You will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to go back.
