Red Perch

What a unique spot in the Arcade! An Australian fish and chips shop, Red Perch offers fish and chips (several different fish options), a Hawaiian poke bowl, salads, fish sandwiches (a fish burger, a fish gyro, and a shrimp banh mi), and other assorted menu items ("Aussie style" pork dumplings, calamari, grilled shrimp, crab rangoon). When I visited Red Perch last Friday, their special of the day was crab cakes. I was there with a group of four coworkers, and we tried a few things on the menu (two of our group had already been a couple of times and thought the rest of us should try it)! I had the poke bowl, which was really good (I asked for it spicy, and I loved the heat level).

Strolling through the arcade and came upon this place earlier in the week it was closed for the day so we returned today for lunch as a respite from the usual burgers etc. Really delicious, freshly cooked red perch with chips. They even had brown vinegar on the table to have with it! Staff were friendly and courteous. All in all a great find!

Not only is their food amazing, but their customer service is outstanding as well. They are always cheerful and kind, and were well-versed on Gluten-free options (a lot of places aren’t). You can tell this family really loves their business and it shows in their food and the way they treat their customers.

Located in the Arcade, Red Perch provides a unique alternative to the more senior offerings adjacent to it. The fish is excellent, albeit a little pricey. Try the fish gyro, fish burger, dim sum, or any internationally-inspired menu item, and you’ll be happy. Red Perch executes it’s intent with pleasant service and fresh seafood. Will return.

Food was fantastic. Counter service. Nice small space w/7 indoor tables. Plenty of space outside too or take it to go.
