Best food on the lake. Always a treat to take a break on the water and go catch some football and have the fish tacos or barramundi sandwich.

Came here on vacation. great atmosphere. The coolest part is its a bar on a pier. The food was some of the best I've had in awhile. Pair that with Big portions and low prices makes Sams Sports Grill a definite stop any time I'm in the area

I've probably eaten at Sam's 40 times in the past three years since moving to Old Hickory. The staff there has always been friendly even when they are packed on great weather days. The environment is unique and awesome. The food there is delicious - especially for a sports bar. I'm tempted to give it a 4 star review, but only because the guys bathroom is way too small for the crowds they draw in. Otherwise it's a 5 star.

The location is what really makes the restaurant. It's right on the bay with beautiful views of the lake and 2 different outside areas to sit and enjoy the lake. There is also an inside area to sit if you want to enjoy your visit in the A/C.

Sam's always has great food. There's a great selection of sandwiches/burgers, pizzas, and appetizers. They have happy hour every day except Friday from 3-7. You should also check out the Bushwhackers, they are very good. Also, always get fries as the side...they are sooo good.

My only real complaint is the beer selection, which it seems they have expanded a little more recently so that's not even that big of a deal any more.

It's located directly on the water in the Cedar Creek area. It can be reached by both land and boat. It's a unique experience as the dining area is literally floating on the water. There are plenty of ducks and geese swimming around and sometimes joining the guests on deck. They have really cheap lunch specials that are actually quite tasty and good portions as well. The dinner menu is filled with tasty options at reasonable prices. And the service was over the top! We were seated within 30 seconds of entering. Our drink order was taken within the first two or three minutes we were seated. And our dinners were served within seven or eight minutes of ordering. The waitstaff were very professional and friendly. It's a great place for lunch, dinner or just enjoying a cocktail or ice cold beer. Today was my first time there. But I'm sure to return with friends and family. Check it out y'all! You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it.
