Shugga Hi Bakery AND Cafe

This has been the best restaurant I have EVER been to in my life from the pleasantness of the staff, to the delicious food, to the live entertainment to the owners open door policy. I felt at my home surrounded by friends and family. The place is full of compassion, love and kindness. They treat you like you belong without judgement. I love Kathy's story of how she opened this restaurant with her sister. Ask her about it. She gives back to the community by donating hot meals to those that can't afford them and she helps those young children eat when there are no free school meals. Monday through Saturday meals are prepared to order and on Sunday it's buffet style. Any time I can return to Tennessee I'll make it a point to stop in and enjoy my home meal away from home.

This was hands down a great experience from the food being 10/10 the service abs the humbleness of the owner. Best mimosa I had in awhile, can’t forgot about the live soul music. It was definitely a vibe and will be returning

If I could give this spot more than five stars, I absolutely would. The food was spectacular, the decor/art was amazing, & the overall feel of the restaurant was comfortable & it felt like home. But none of that would matter if the customer service was subpar, which it most definitely was not. Ms. Lady (I didn’t get her name, but I believe she was the owner) was the only worker outside of the kitchen & you wouldn’t have even known. We came in as a family of 7 before noon, & she took excellent care of us while still tending to the other customers. 10/10 place, 10/10 food, & 10/10 service. I don’t imagine you’ll be disappointed. 😊

Came in to visit while on vacation. So glad I found this place. Customer service on point! Ordered fish & waffles, & side of grits everything delicious! Mimosas were good too! I hope I have time to stop in again before going back home. 😃 Definitely recommended!!!

The chicken & waffles were fantastic! And my fiancée loved her fish & waffles! Live music, strong mimosas, and amazing hospitality. Can't wait to come back!
