Menu selection limited, but for a hookah spot it’s very good. The atmosphere is so relaxing and cozy. The waitress was very provoking, rushing us to eat and leave, but it was a great experience overall.
The menu is not very inviting, the waiters and waitresses look sloppy they need a better uniform if it's supposed to be a luxury experience. They were out of almost every tequila I wanted and my waitress asked me to hit the hookah. The overhead music is great; the place is beautiful and has some real potential but it needs some work.
TL;DR
Soul has something for just about everybody. From the décor to the food and drinks, they go up and beyond. I’d definitely recommend this spot to my friends and family.
FULL REVIEW
When I first stepped into Soul, I felt like I was in another world.
The walls were beautifully covered in music posters, neon signs, and plants (think of Avatar). The speakers were pumping out old school RnB to help set the mood.
In the back, there was a covered patio, where they served hookah. The look and feels here were on point!
The same could be said for the food, drinks, and hookah. I ordered the Soul Glow, Lobster, Lamb Chops, and watermelon/double apple/mint hookah. Sheeeesh! They were all delicious.
The servers here were chill and very friendly. They’d check up on me and make sure I was take care of.
On Thursdays, this spot has a live band, which is dope. The one I saw was jamming out to throwbacks from Marvin Gaye and the Temptations.
I was surprised by the number of local black professionals that come here. I got to meet black realtors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
I can easily see myself being a regular here.
