I love Sperry's! This is a fabulous local authentic restaurant that offers the best steak and wine selection. They have a salad bar, nice ambiance and fun historical stories about the owners in the entry foyer to appreciate.
There is a reason why Sperrys has been a Nashville staple since 1976. It was absolutely superb from the moment I walked into the door until I left. I ordered the filet and king crab cake and twice baked potato and it was all simply divine. The salad bar has many extras on there as well. The food was perfect but I'm most impressed with how nice every single person was from the hostess to the bartender's to the Busboys.. positive uplifting experience just to walk in the door
Love it. Gotta sit at the bar. Dark, classic old-school vibe - leather chairs, old guys smoking cigars, dogs playing poker paintings style place. Just kidding, there's no smoking and no actual paintings of dogs playing poker. Not even sure about the leather chairs, but you get the point. Get the Filet Tips with grits - and the salad bar. Pork Chop is phenomenal as well. Lobster Mac and cheese is also amazing.
Decided to go to Sperry's to celebrate our 11th anniversary tonight. Could not have asked for a better experience. The food was excellent! It was seriously the best meal we've had in Nashville. We had the swordfish and prime rib. Both were incredible, but the swordfish was our favorite. The salad bar was very good as well. Alvin was our server. He was very attentive, had great suggestions, and even surprised us with a special, amazing, dessert for our anniversary. Thanks Sperry's for a wonderful dinner! We'll definitely be back whenever we're in Nashville.
It's tough to find a steak that's grilled exactly the way you order it. We went to Sperry's to celebrate Father's Day yesterday. My wife and I both ordered a New York Strip and they nailed it! It was perfectly cooked the way we ordered it, and seasoned just right. Their salad bar is on point and and the lobster mac & cheese was delicious. We split one because it's so rich and kind of big, but that was just right. Trust me and save room for some Sticky Toffee Pudding. That's another rich dish that we decided to split, but it was crazy good! The service is fantastic here and the ambiance is really cool; sort of a quaint, Old English vibe. The only thing I would note is that it's a little pricey. The two of us typically spend about $150 for our meal there, but you get what you pay for. This place is excellent.
