Stay Golden

From the moment I stepped into stay golden I was impressed. Maybe it's because I'm a fan of the outsiders or maybe just because I really needed caffeine. The coffee options were amazing, so many original takes on espresso and drip coffee, which can sometimes just be bland sometimes

I ordered a Cortado, my go to beverage of choice to judge a shop. The first sip blew me away, as well as every other one. Smooth, creamy, full, rich all the best descriptions of what a Cortado should be.

I also got the Chicken sandwich which I honestly did not have high expectations for I was weary of the price tag and was pretty sure I was getting ripped off. I was totally wrong! It was quite possibly one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever sunk my chompers into. The flavor was on point ????, from the moist chicken to the yang of the onions and the pop of the sauce they put on it. It was absolutely worth every penny, and this is coming from a dude that is broke most of the time. No regrets.

Annnndddd....the coffee soda, what it the world ????.

Some of the best food and coffee in South Nashville. The new structure of flow is the only reason I would deduct stars at all. Instead of going in, getting a table, and ordering with a waiter or waitress, everyone now has to wait in line, whether it is for a cup of coffee for one, or a full meal for 8. It has made it nearly impossible to stop in and grab a cup of coffee in a hurry, and that's truly all I want to do some days. I'll never stop supporting, but I do wish there was an easier way to come and support more often.

Will be back just for The Veggie. Such a great breakfast biscuit sandwich. So much flavor!

Do yourself a favor and get the latte! It is delicious! The chilaquiles are my go to when I’m at Stay Golden and they never disappoint. The waffle is divine and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating.

The food and coffee are delicious - I enjoyed my omelette and baked goods (to-die-for muffin). Even more so the space is gorgeous. You feel very calm and serene there!
