Love Texas de Brazil.
A bit pricey but definitely worthy!
The food is always fresh and the meat doesn’t stop coming until you say so!
Perfect place for a special day with friends or loved ones.

A lot was riding on last night's dinner. Still recovering from the results of an unexpected down-sizing, we've been tightly budgeting and what we had set aside for our seventh anniversary had to be used well. Texas de Brazil was on our list of places to try "someday" and we like to have new and special experiences for our big events. Fingers crossed, we bet it all on dinner here.

The complimentary valet was the first nice touch of the experience. Walking around the park after dark for parking wasn't something we were relishing, so being able to remove that concern right off the bat meant we didn't have to feel rushed through dinner to get back out to our car.

Once inside, the hostess was attentive and friendly. We were given a nice table (though I didn't see a bad one in the house, honestly, just some farther from the salad bar than others) and she seated us with class.

Our server, Alejandro, was friendly and attentive. He explained the procedures clearly and efficiently, and offered us a complementary dessert for our anniversary, and let us know that we could have it to go if we didn't have room at the end of our meal. When we turned over our cards after our salad, he was so quick to come to us with new plates that we practically felt like there was a camera someplace! ;) He kept our water glasses full, stopped by often to offer clean plates or more of something. We received truly excellent service from him and he was very sweet.

The servers with the meat were also prompt, efficient, and friendly. We never waited long for service at all.

Finally, the food was exquisite. There wasn't anything we tried that wasn't at least good, except the potatoes au gratin which seemed to have gotten overly browned, though even those were still fair. Overall, we were operating on a scale of good to great based solely on personal preferences. The salad bar alone could make a complete meal and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Honestly, the term "salad bar" seems so dead common compared to the extravagance that was offered there.

We "only" ended up trying seven of the meats, but each was cooked to perfection in tenderness and seasoning. The flank steak, filet, and lamb were our winners for the night, but that took nothing away from anything else we ate. The fried sweet bananas brought out during the main course were a surprise winner, as well.

We ended by sharing the Brazilian cheesecake, which was rich and creamy, yet still light enough not to overwhelm us after the meal. The presentation was a lovely extra touch, as the plate was decorated with sauces and Happy Anniversary was added on the rim in raspberry.

We have been singing the praises of our experience to our friends and family and are looking forward to returning for another special occasion. We were so glad we chose Texas de Brazil for our anniversary dinner.

The service is above and beyond. The food is phenomenal. Absolutely worth the price, and if you sign up for their emails, they send out coupons pretty regularly and even have a kids eat free week. Free valet out front. Get reservations - this place gets busy. This is our go-to place for our anniversary or birthdays.

They did a great job. The meat was perfect. I don't know if you can request it but I would definitely recommend sitting closer to the kitchen if possible. my boyfriend and I have been there twice and the second time were were closer to the kitchen and although the first time was great the second time was much much better: A lot more people came to our table with options. If you haven't subscribed to their email list, definitely make sure that you do because you can get a $20 off coupon. (It takes two to three days for them to send it to you though so plan ahead)
