The Donut + Dog

Saw this place on a website that said they were the best quaint coffee shop in Nashville. It did not disappoint! The donut burger was AMAZING! The hotdogs are also fantastic and they make their own homemade buns which really steps them up and they are absolutely 100 percent beef and very flavorful! The truffle fries were great and the staff here was insanely friendly! We will definitely be back!

The flavor is good. It is not the "huge" hotdog I was expecting, but is good tasting, and what I really like is the fries they give you plenty, they're crunchy! Fries are a must. The bun is delicious. And only thing is they don't have hot sauce. ????

I ate here the other day with my daughter. We had intended to just come for a donut or two. However, there were way too many amazing flavors to decide upon just one or two so we did the natural thing...and ordered 6 (don't worry, we sampled a bite of all and brought the rest home!). My daughter ordered a hot chocolate and I ordered a smoked caramel latte because it sounded interesting, not realizing I was about to behold a spectacle! I don't want to ruin the surprise but it involves smoke, a lantern and everyone staring at you in obvious envy. ???? After our sugar comas started to sink in, my daughter said she needed a hamburger and since I love truffle fries, I ordered a "side" of those. I will say, after being hopped up on sugar, the donut bun for the hamburger was wayyy too much. Wish they had an option for a normal bun but the burger itself was quite delicious and under other circumstances, I could have made a meal of the fries. (Circumstances that don't involve ingesting a million calories prior.) Donut + Dog are one of the top two donut shops in Nashville imo! Wish they were closer to me. Well, that might be a bad idea for me but I highly recommend. Their seasonal flavors at the moment are to die for!

I think we ordered a healthy donut. The donut had no sugar-it tasted like bread with chocolate. The donuts are beautiful, and we thought they would be great. The coffee was amazing! The campfire coffee has a toasted marshmallow that is toasted at your table! Beer and donuts=amazing combo! 5 star vibe, 5 star coffee, 3 star donuts. We didn’t try the dogs-but people were chowing down!

This place is honestly too good to be true. Everything was perfect about my experience here. Food, to die for. Beers, cold and refreshing. Coffee, strong and smooth. The crew are fun and amazing to be around.
