The Halal Guys

The Halal Guys is a fast casual restaurant serving up gyros and platters (basically dissected gyros on a plate). They use chicken and spiced beef as opposed to the traditional lamb that most people think of with gyros, topped with their proprietary "white" sauce...which is basically a better version of the typical cucumber sauce you'd find at a gyro place. Why is it worthy of five stars? I have eaten here numerous times and the food quality has been consistent. While the menu isn't huge, I have tried most of their offerings (gyros, platters, desserts, and hummus) and enjoyed all of it! It's nice to have a fast casual option that isn't a giant burrito or a sub. The prices are a great value to. Today it isn't unheard of to see fast food places charge similar prices, and you aren't left with the guilt of having eaten crumby food. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable, and the staff has all been fantastic...kudos to whoever did the initial staffing at this new spot. Don't be frightened off by the somewhat exotic name "The Halal Guys". It isn't some sort of ethnic hole in the wall. Just great fast casual dining. Give it a shot!

Excellent service and awesome management. We showed up with no idea they were closing in 5 minutes. Instead of kicking us out, the manager kindly asked us if we needed anything and let us stay as long as we would have liked. We packed up anyways. Spicy food is actually spicy as well, which is a huge plus. Get the spicy hummus.

Some of the most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered. Even asked if I was a vegetarian and got me fresh pita that hadn’t touched meat! Hummus is amazing, pita is soft and delicious, and the white sauce is a God send! Also super clean.
