White Castle

When one does not live anywhere near a White Castle, yet is suddenly found to be in the presence of one after a few years ... one stops and orders a dozen with fries and a huge drink. Eats them all, sitting in the front window. Explains, mouth full, why this is so good to a seven-year-old ... who's watching the 48-year-old, as if he were her younger, stupid sibling.

It was good. Hadn't had any for years. Staff was funny and happy to mock my enthusiasm, thankfully after I left.

Good food for a small family. Great place for Saturday nights after I leave the races, go and get a crave case to eat on my way home lol.

I wish I knew what happened here. I was at a White Castle in Chicago that was as good as ever, but the Nashville site was a train wreck. The sliders we're all undercooked and tasteless; the fried food (rings, fries and poppers) were overcooked and equally tasteless; the dining area was in disarray; and the bathroom was a mess. There's definitely a lurking homeless problem near the freeway, but in this case, better Management could make all the difference.

I love the burgers at White Castle. The staff needs a little training on courtesy. Met a wonderful veteran and his wife me and my friend sang the national anthem to him. Had an awesome experience very memorable I'm sure for all of us.

Lobby was closed but the lovely folks inside let us come in and order anyways (we had walked there from Play so no car for the drive through). I tried the Impossible sliders for the first time and let me tell y’all, I’m hooked. The perfect oniony, cheese slider I wanted without the beef. It was a miracle and the perfect post club noms.
