gotta love their burgers & fries & milkshakes & ride Sandy the wonderhorse while you're there!

I have been eating at the Parsons Dairy Bar since I was about 8 years old; and I am 51 now. It has been owned and ran by the Duke's all these years and they are a wonderful family. Their slaw dogs are awesome, but their butterscotch milkshakes may be even better!!! Actually, I have not been able to find a butterscotch milkshake anywhere else through the years. This place is worth the drive to enjoy a couple slaw dogs, fries, and your favorite flavor of milkshake. Their burgers are good too, but the slaw dogs are the bomb!!!

Some of the best food that you can find in Parsons. I would recommend the Slaw Dogs.

Right on the main road. A large parking lot. Half of it is gravel and half of it is paved. If it's been raining watch where you park there maybe some puddles. You stand up outside and order at a window. They fix the food fresh. you take it back to your car and eat in your car. A local Hangout area for quite a few years. I have been here before and will come back again. I highly recommend this to anyone. They are open late at night. Thank you. A great place to park and eat your food and watch the cars go back and forth. A small town and all the locals will ride back and forth all night long.

OMG family owned only open through the summer you have to try them if you are in the area .they All ways have a crowd but service them at a walk up dwindle enough people working that you never experience a long wait. Their prices are very good for the food an the service .they have a variety of foods burgers an fries .but their ice cream is what everyone goes for an usually gets more. I recommend the best slaw dog I have ever ate with your choice of shake. Don't tell anyone I usually get two an a cherry shake. We have actually driven 45 minutes just to eat there. So take a nice little ride with the kids eat an if you go for the day check out the tn. River Art Village. There is a lot in that 2 light town to make it a pleasant day.
