Desert Rose Cantina

Love the vibe but the food needs salt, even the salsa needed salt. Cheese dip was great! Also, the bottles of water on the table are cool but maybe don't fill it with Dickson city water. That's not the cantinas fault though. Dickson's water tastes horrible. Waitresses should refill drink glasses more often.

Delicious food and great service. A little loud on a Friday night, but a fun atmosphere. If you don't want the loudness of a weekend night, go at lunch. Always good food, I really enjoyed the blooming BBQ. Great pick.

Finally stopped in to try this place out with most of my family, and I was not disappointed. Our service was great and the food has a good presentation and taste. I could see an adult night at the bar with drinks and dinner.

I went with very low expectations, but I actually very much enjoyed it. Drinks were great, food was great. Music was a little loud for table conversation. Prices were a little high, but quality was great. Excellent service. Chicken fajita quesadilla was really enough to share, especially after an appetizer. Armadillo eggs were great. I personally didn't care for the salsa trio. Will definitely be back. I would give a 4.5 if I could do a half star.

The pineapple margarita was good, and the space is very cute. The two of us each had 1 drink & 3 tacos, and we split the 3 dip appetizer. We weren't crazy about any of the little tacos we tried, but the Nashville Hot Chicken was marginally better than the BBQ or Asian beef ones. The guacamole tasted like a cumin bomb - like they accidentally knocked the entire spice container into the guac. It was foul, and we barely touched it to our great disappointment. Our total was $73 before tip, and we probably won't be back.
